Deep learning algorithm researcher

The Zebra algorithms team is a leader in modern computer vision and deep learning practices.

The team is in charge of creating cutting edge algorithmic products which detect and diagnose a wide variety of medical conditions from medical images.

These solutions help make medical diagnosis faster, more accurate and more accessible to millions of patients around the world.

As a researcher on the team, you will get a chance to work alongside some of the best minds in the field and implement the latest Deep learning and computer vision algorithms, in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, design and develop deep learning and computer vision algorithms to detect a wide variety of medical conditions from image and textual data.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team of medical doctors, engineers, and designers to deliver an end-to-end product: from the idea phase, through collecting and assessing the data, exploring algorithmic approaches, developing, testing, validating and integrating the algorithm in the production environment.
  • Read and implement algorithms publications in the field of deep learning and computer vision, as well as publish your own work, and contribute to the community via conferences/meetups etc.
  • Participate in long term research efforts, and build excellence in the field of deep learning for imaging data
  • Contribute to the team’s methodologies, best practices and toolset, share your work and give/receive feedback from peers in the team

Requirements:

  • MSC. in computer science, preferably in the field of machine learning/computer vision
  • 3+ years of hands on development of complex machine learning models using modern frameworks and tools (ideally python based)
  • 1+ year of hands on experience with Deep learning using common open source frameworks and tools (Keras, TensorFlow, Theano, Caffe etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Team player, positive and driven, fast learner

Desirable skills/qualifications:

  • PHD in machine learning – very strong advantage
  • Experience in computer vision – very strong advantage
  • Publications/public speaking experience in the field of Machine learning – strong advantage
  • Experience in engineering, especially working with CI, docker, Hadoop, and distributed systems – strong advantage


 

 

 

Algorithms group leader

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 8-10 researchers and data scientists, focusing on deep learning, computer vision and text mining
  • Attract and retain top talent in the field of deep learning
  • Provide team members with guidance and decisions around algorithm and research topics and methodologies
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to define the scope, requirements timelines and project plans of complex, multi-disciplinary Machine learning projects
  • Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from problem definition, data collection, research, development, productization and measurements
  • Initiate and guide various long term research efforts, and build excellence in the field of deep learning for imaging data – including implementing the latest techniques and articles
  • Establish processes, common infrastructure, tools, automations and shared practices in the team to achieve maximal efficiency as well as high quality products

Job requirements:

  • MSC/PHD in computer science, preferably in the field of machine learning/computer vision

Senior Data engineer

The Zebra data team owns the data across the company – from acquiring, cleaning, archiving, indexing, serving and building tools to analyze the data – both for humans and for algorithms.

We use Python, Redis, ElasticSearch, Mongo DB and node.js, as well as docker and Rancher as our tools of trade.

We are looking for a Senior Data engineer to join our team and help us take our infrastructure to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and operate complex data pipelines
  • Build tools to monitor and alert on data quality and availability
  • Design and develop tools and automations that expose the data to the rest of the company – from researches to the scalable automatic process which train machine learning models.

Job requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in backend development on distributed, scalable system – preferably in Python.
  • 2+ years experience in Linux.
  • 2+ year experience in data engineering – data pipeline design, implementation, operations
  • 1+ Experience working with no SQL databases – at least one of cassandra/hbase/Elastic/Mongo​/Couchbase/Redis

Desirable experience/skills:

  • Python expert – very strong advantage
  • Machine learning background/understanding – very strong advantage
  • Hadoop/spark – strong advantage
  • Docker – strong advantage
  • Monitoring systems, alerting etc. – advantage

Full stack – Application Team

  • 5+ years of backend and system engineering experience
  • Expert knowledge of at least one Object Oriented language (python preferred), Javascript MVC framework and deep understanding of design patterns.
  • Fluent in latest web technologies  – AngularJS, jQuery, Node.js
  • Product oriented and problem solving personality.
  • Experience with micro-services – strong advantage.
  • Experience with high traffic high availability web server development and – strong advantage
  • Experience with AWS, Dockers technology, Linux environment – advantage
  • Design awareness, UX, UI experience – advantage
  • Experience with relational and nonrelational databases – Postgres, MongoDB – advantage
